This past weekend, we rolled out a couple small updates to the blog:

New Domain Name!
The most important update is a new domain name. We registered switchonthecode.com a long time ago, but we never got around to pointing it to our blog. We didn’t want to break existing links, so for now we simply redirect the new domain to our current one. It will probably stay that way for a long time since Google tends to throw domain-switchers into their supplemental index (Google Hell).

So tell your friends to check out www.switchonthecode.com

Tracebacks/Pingbacks
Another update is the inclusion of tracebacks and pingbacks. In the past we simply discarded these since there wasn’t a dedicated place to put them on the site (and they really mucked up the comments). Now you can see what other sites have linked to our posts in a new section directly underneath the comments.

Authors
Lastly, we now display the author at the very bottom of each post. This isn’t a major change, but just in case you were curious as to which one of us wrote a specific article, now you know.
